Default Headlight Question

My other car is a 2000 986 with the OE "Fried Egg" headlights. I am sick of the yellow "yolks" on these lights and I am considering an upgrade.

Does anyone know the Porsche Part Number for the replacement litronics (should be the same PN for the 986/996 Mk I)?

Does anyone know the part number for the '99-01 lights (non Litronic) with the clear "yolks"?

Thanks in advance!!

I'd always thought the "fried egg" headlight shape is a reference to the '02+? Anyway, I'm fairly certain the 986 and the '99-'01 996 share the same headlights, litronics or non. My '99 non-litronics are sitting in a box in the garage, so I'll look up the part # tonight if someone doesn't beat me to it.

Do your '99 Non-litronics, have the yellow turn signal like on my car (see pic below) or are they the newer style that is clear? If you have the clear ones would you consider selling them to me??

OK Ray, here are the part # on my non-litronics:

996.631.063.20 (driver side)
996.631.064.20 (passenger side)

Mine have the clear turn signals and triangles (non-washer). I hadn't thought about selling them, but I guess I would consider it. What's a fair price? PM me.

Ray & Charlie,

Check out Pelican Parts list. Here is the link. Halogen headlights $562, Lictronics $1,072.

http://www.pelicanparts.com/PartsLoo...SA_KATALOG.htm

Go to the very bottom of the page. The Headlamp choices are in the center column.

Thanks for the link, Tim. Whoa...that price is for each? The 996 headlight values are holding up better than the car!
