New guy, 2000 millenium ed (pic)
Standox, eh? Hmmm...looks like it's a German company distributed in the USA by Dupont. My understanding was that Glasurit sold the formula to PPG. No one in my area carries all the toners required to make the color. A local paint guy suggested I try a large distributor in South FL. I sort of dropped it after that.
I recently got a road rash kit from Dr. Colorchip. (What few mile the PO put on the car, most of them must have been on a road under construction.) It took them awhile to provide the paint. Bottom line is the color didn't match. Actually the base color was close, but there was no metal particles in it! I haven't followed up with them yet.
Anyway, nice car again. I like the alum trim rings and am amazed you got the leather matched that well on the sport seats.

This is the guy I used: Larry, 908-5266960 "foreign specialty" NJ, we tried glasurit and he knew right off the bat that there ware not enough colors in there (close, but not exact). I have a quart of the standox paint cause I didnt want to go through that ordeal again. The paint is available, just gotta find that right person who know what he's talking about.
The gt3 seats are standard color nataural brown

Welcome to Rennlist
Looks like you are running spacers on your 911. Can you tell me what size they are and where you got them. Thanks Ahead of time
