Talk about getting shafted!! My Indy mechanic says he only owes me the labor part of $450 because technically he fut in a new sending unit in there....even though I did not need one!!!!
Oh...and he conveniently threw away the old sending unit and I do not even get that back.

The dealer did not mention any recall and promptly charged me $210 for the recalibration. IF you find out that the cluster recalibration is a recall, please let me know and I will try and get a refund!!
It is weird but setting the cluster to a diff country resulted in how much the fuel needle drops for a given consumption. Earlier I used to go from F to total E in 10ish gallons and now it is obviously 16+ gallons.
