Default Test Air Mass Flow Sensor?

I have a CEL code p0102 which I believe it is the MAF meter. I have cleared the code only to find that the check engine light comes back after a little bit of driving. The car idles rough now especially when the engine is hot. I was wondering if there is a way to test if the Air Mass Flow Meter is broken or not. Such as can I test the resistant or anything like that?
