Hi All - I'm new here and to Porsche. I'm just about to pull the trigger on a mint '04 C4S coupe with 15k miles. The car is Arctic over Metropole Blue and has Bose, Supple and Techno Wheels (no PSE, however...bummer...I'll be asking for aftermarket recommenations from you all).

Deal is $61k with CPO running to 9/09 (still 6 mos on factory warranty). Car was driven by nice lady in her late 50s, was serviced by dealership I'd be buying from. I have all the records and have reviewed the CPO worksheet and repair order (15k service done, 4 new Michelins, Brake Fluid Flush).

Thoughts??

Thanks, I know you're right in the middle of selling your '02 and I took a good look at it. Since, I'm new to Porsche getting a longer CPO is valuable to me, so I went with a newer model year.

Go for it C4S is the best looking 996. Love them. If its CPO though and its a 04 it should be running out for you in 2010 right....4 year Factory and CPO is 2 year 100k miles. I got a 03 CPO bought last year first service date Aug 03 so Aug of this year 07 4 years Factory is up then I get til Aug of 09 til CPO runs out. Might wanna check that but go for it anyways

Good point, Cabova. The in-service date was September '03, so warranty runs out in '07. then, add on the two years of CPO coverage. I'm guessing this was an early '04??
