Were your previous wheels powdercoated sport designs or BSAs?

New look is hot!

I know, I know I hat it too!! I had it off for a while. The cops have not bothered me, BUT the base, where I work, warned me evermorning I have to go through the gates. The gate guard finally told me one morning that it was the last time he's letting me through without the front tags

Thanks! I wanted to powdercoat them but didn;t trust the local shop on their heating process. I dissassembled them myself. Took the centers off and had them just painted with the toughest black paint.

Maybe I will ask him again in a few months when I am palnning on buying a set. Probably a simple misunderstanding on my part.
Spring,

Sorry, I didn't mean that in a wrong manner. I misunderstood you.
Call John. He's very nice to talk to. Relaxed and no pressure. He's very enthusiastic about his wheels.

Thants why I changed (in parallel) to the Mintex front brake pads and OEM rears....less brake dust and infrequent cleaning.
Good idea! do you feel a difference in stopping power/effort though?

Not at all, the Mintex is a good low dust brake pad with good performance. I dont track the car but for street use, they are fine.

Interesting. Similar to the OEM GT3 wheels... sort of a modern interpretation of Fuchs.

Mike: I went on CCW's site and saw what looks like your car shown as an example of what they'd look like on a Porsche....are you affiliated with the company?

I cancelled my order for a set of Champions because I liked the look of your wheels....did you get the center caps thru CCW also or another source? Are those center caps metal or plastic? I've sent CCW an email inquiring about them.

For some they may be "bling", but to others they look great. They just seem to go with certain colors.

Chuck,

I'm definitely NOT affiliated with CCW nor any shop. I'm just a happy customer of CCW particularly. John(Owner I think) is a genuine enthusiasts. He love to talk about cars and wheels specs of course. You know when a person is being genuine to you.. he's one of them. He does the work himself.

The center caps are from a shop nearby him, I think. They're(CAPS) billet aluminum with genuine Porsce crest! Not plastics.
