Is it possible to mount this one piece horseshoe console to my 2000 C2 which comes with a 3 piece horseshoe console?

I tried to install it this morning, but it seems like it requires a different mounting bracket.

Is there a way to make it work? I want to install a double din touch screen and this would be much nicer...

I thought that all you had to do was get an adapter to accomodate the smaller AC vent

I asked Loren (Renntech) the same question, and he told me it was not possible.
You can try to make a "Do it yourself" if you have a good skill, tiny hands or wathever you call it... but I think it wouldn't work

Why can'y you insall a double din with your current set up? I put a Alpine IVA-W200 in mine and the fitment was almost perfect.

I could but I think the 1-piece looks better and I also have the cupholder...

The one piece does look better but the mounting posts and holes are different. So my answer is that it will not be a direct replacement. Take that as you will.

You may be able to do it a different way. The control section is the same shape from 99-01' and 02'+. Although probably significantly more expense that you are looking for, you can probably try to retrofit the entire center section (vents, cupholders and DIN frames) from an 02'+.
