Default Fatal Crash last Saturday

It is with sadness and regret that I pass on the news to all of you that a P-Car driver got into a fatal crash last Saturday, here in the SF Bay Area.

I personally saw this car at Santana Row(SR), just a few hours before the accident. Apparently, this crash occured at one of the group run/ride that took place after the SR get-together.

Hope this serves as a timely reminder to all of us to drive safely.

RIP to our fallen P-Car bro.

True sadness. May God grant Luis eternal rest. I will keep him in my prayers the next few Sunday masses.

Unbelievably! I was following right behind him Saturday on 17 until he and the rest of the cars turned off onto 85.

Godspeed Luis.

I saw his car and chatted a bit with him at SR last Saturday. Was shocked when I read the news on fchat.

R.I.P. ... and a moment of silence for Luis.

Reposting from 993 board - Truly Tragic..

It is very sad. I knew Luis very well from San Fran as our shop worked on his car when I was out there. He was a great guy that I enjoyed seeing and chatting with when he would just stop by, or when I was out at the track.

RIP my friend.....

Truly tragic indeed- anyone that knew him was always in for a good (and loud!) time. Some of us in the Bay Area are going to do something for him shortly so I'll keep you guys posted.

For those of you that want to share your fond memories and pix of him, we're all doing so here:

Alex - Please let me know what you are thinking to do. I would certainly like to contribute.

Funny thing. A number of times I would be driving down 101, and I would hear something loud and just could not see it. Turns out that it would be Luis's car either in front of me a LONG way ahead, or eventually coming up on me....

Seems like a great loss.

Wow, I'm in shock. I saw Luis and his car just that day at SR. Hard to miss his car.

I'm glad I chose to go on my own slow drive that day.
