I always thought the "Park Assist" on a Porsche was about the most useless option they offered. Especially on a Boxster.
Those sensors in back really ruin the clean lines of the bumper. Good job!

Did it require to modificate those rear c4s tips or was it kinda bolt on?
It's not a direct bolt on for the 4S tips, it require some gas cutting & welding by the exhaust shop.

did you have the under hood and trunk and door jambs done as well? What does a complete paint job cost there?
This painter is the best you can find in the region. He use only glasurit paint which is originally use for all top end cars like Porsche, Ferrari, Lambo & Rolls Royce. It would cost about US$3.5K for a complete spray paint with color change.
You can get lower grade paint job for much lesser $$, but I won't save the money on a 996.
i heard car tax over there is a killer, isn't it?
The road tax on my previous 1986 930 was US$4K a year !!!

Looks Great! What prompted the change. Was it wrecked. Or did you just crave a color change?

Tell me about it, I was caught speeding at 86mph at the expressway, charge in court with a total fine of US$700 & almost got my licence suspended !!
But we could drive in Malaysia at over 150mph & the traffic police cannot catch us cause their cameras & cars are too slow..... hahaaa.
Yes, here's some pics. Car is like brand new now !

WOW, they kept the option code sticker, good job. Must cost you a bomb in Sing to do such a paint job.
Then again maybe not since labour is cheap over there. A friend of mine has his car hand wash 5 days a week for $40 a month. YES $40 a month he pays a guy to come to his parking lot and washes his car 5 times a week. Is a different world over there.
