This is what chasing and grabbing your dreams is all about. I sent my Mom my video from my Autocross on Sat with my new 996 and this was her reply:

"I enjoyed to see you racing your Porsche !! Many years ago when I used to watch you playing with your match-box cars,turning my bed into a parking lot , I knew that some day I will be watching you racing in a beautiful car like your Porsche, Thank God for that day. enjoy !!."

It almost brings tears to my eyes. I finally made it happen.

Great story. I had a similar one when I started vintage racing. Really good when your fun works for others too.

"Are you f'in crazy, your gonna get hurt or put an eye out".
