A final update to this thread... after sending the lady her bracelet I received $150 in AMEX gift cards from her and her husband. If only every cleaning of the car could be so profitable.

roob: This story reinforces my faith in the calibre and quality of the Porsche crowd here. You went above and beyond in actively pursuing the identify of the previous owner, which is something you didn't have to do....and in doing so you brought a whole lot of happiness to the lady who lost it (and undoubtedly to her husband who gave it to her)....not to mention the sense of satisfaction you get for yourself.
