Default WTB Tiptronic fluid

Does anyone know where I can buy tiptronic fluid by the liter?

Tried Sunset, they would break it out of the barrels into the amount I need but I dont live near them. I am appreciating them more and more, too bad I dont live near by!

My local dealership wont let me buy any seperately from the barrel.

I am not paying $500 for a fluid change.

500 bucks. Holy Crap

I don't have the tip but I had the dealer do my gear oil change being that I was there.

49 bucks for labor and $13.50 for 6 liters of gear oil.

BTW - I don't recall, why did you buy a Tip in the first place! The TRUTH now!

Please don't tell me that you got a Tip so your wife could drive it and then, 3 to 4 weeks later, she said she didn't like driving the car and didn't want to drive it any more.

I think that tranny is the same as the one in a BMW. I know I cross referenced it at one point.

Because it was an aero and it was $15k less than the equivalent 996s at the time

The 996 trans is a 5hp19hla. Other uses for a 5hp19 is the BMW E39, E46 and Z4 6 cylinders along with the VW Passat and Audi A4, and A6. So, wouldn't equivalent tranny fluid be used in those models?

I know BMW has their own fluid, but I suspect all the fluids are the same, just rebranded for each manufacturer.
