Default Mmmmm....carbon fiber race battery

New purchase for the silver bullit: race battery with carbon fiber shell. High levels of gangsterness and weight reduction for the win

They weight 6lbs and have enough power to start my car...which is all I can ask of a battery. They also have some more powerful ones for those with subs and stuff.

Ahhh the CF Braille...the F1 of road car batteries. Well if you are going to have one for several years might as well drop a couple of Franklins. Forty pound weight reduction. I'm looking at the 12 pound Braille. Crazy thing is people spend a couple hundred on a Porsche battery that's just a rebadged boat anchor.

p.s.
have you ever seen a Champion F1 spark plug? looks like 50mm gun shell.

that's it below The F1 teams were complaing to Champion that for its size the traditional spark plugs were the heaviest part of the F1 motor. So they came up with that teeny thing on the far right.

Nothing like seeing carbon fiber and lead in the same product

While not F-1, the plugs that were specified for our Champ car engines are these tiny little bullet looking things that were pure platinum and cost (not price) was $90.00 ea.

DeAd-EyE, how's the new battery holding up for you. Is it being used on a daily driver basis?

As an AGM battery, it should be comparable to any other AGM battery, like the Optima/Odyssey.
