Radio problem after car wash?
Hi all maybe someone can help with this.
I have the factory 6CD changer and Hi Fi set up. I brought my car in for a wash and wax at the "in the building" detailing place at my office building. It is a new building and several co workers have taken their cars there and have been pretty satisfied. Anyways...
I pick up my car and as I am driving home I notice only the RADIO works. When I switch sources to the CD player NO SOUND comes out. I kept playing and playing and discovered the mute function etc. So as I am getting more frustrated..I leave it on CDC so the CD is "playing" I just cannot hear it...I turn the key to remove it..and as I am pulling out the key..THE CD PLAYS! It plays for that 3-4 seconds...before the power goes away.
What gives?? So I keep switching the key in and out...and it only works for those 3-4 seconds when you pull the key OUT.
Any ideas?

That sucks - I hope you get it fixed at no major cost to you. This why I won't let anyone else wash my car. The guys who do it at the office were pissed off at me, but in th eend, it's not their car, so they could care less if the screw it up - you know thye'll deny any involvement. They all seem to be retired valet parking attendants.
