HELP: in PCM 1.0 get message "CD is upside down"...but it isn't....
Just happened on a ride. Nothing weird with the car. Took to dealer...no fault codes. Rebooting the PCM...same error message (the tech had the latest Porsche unit, etc.).
They are calling Atlanta. Rest of the PCM seems ok (radio, phone)...
ANYONE know what to do? Clean the CD reader? Bang it.
No spills.
No issues.
Weather has been cool, but not changed.
No accidents.
Is the CD nav reader toast?
Anyone know a place to get one other than the dealer's parts department?
How much is one at the dealer, assuming it is only the CD reader?
