That's right!
Marmite is the original and genuine spread - made from left over brewing yeast - the poor candidate is Vegamite
They are about to launch a limited edition Guinness flavored version in the UK I hear!
It has a very strong taste, salty, meaty yeasty.
Spread it on bread and butter or on buttered toast.

You either love it or hate it - no in between.
I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
"25% of British people take Marmite with them when they go on holiday"

Can we start again talking about German cars? I don't think that too many that are not from the island consider the British cuisine as very mouth-watering.

Mmmm...
Snake and Pygmy
Bananas and Bird's custard
Sherry trifle
Tripe and onions (well, maybe not)
Proper lamb chops...
Right, I'm starved!
Time to go to Naja's pub in Redondo, then on to Addi's Tandoor for some serious vindaloo, vindaloo, vindaloo la la...

In Prague we have Tescos and Marks and Spencer now, so I can get most things now. Never been to the states but I imagine with the mixed population there it must be good for eating, especially as most Americans weigh too much haha.
