Six Speed is almos IMPOSSIBLE to get signed into if you're new. I don't know if it's because of AOL or what (I have AOL)....but I've been trying for some time to get "approved"...and I keep getting an automated message that says I've been "BANNED". I have read on this forum where other guys have had the same problem. I finally said screw it and quit going there. I know you can go there and read the text...but you may not be able to get approved so that you can get in on the deal.

If you figure out how to get "approved"...let me know. Chuck

Chuck Jones, I believe that is due to the latest trend of spammers and spam bots registering on forums all over the net. Some sites now require email validation, followed by Admin approval. It's a pain for admin, and time consuming to screen all registrations to filter out the fake from the genuine, but it's the only way to stay on top of the game.

So...if you have a suspicious IP or domain in your email address, you might be struck off the long list of new registrations. You'd be surprised at how many of those they get in a day, especially on a busy site like rennlist or 6speed.

Also, if you cant access 6speed, the link below is directly to Evoms groupbuy page.

http://www.evoms.com/evo/Pages/SUPERCHARGERGROUPBUY.asp

Since many people are having issues accessing 6speed, we can run a concurrent list here, and then I'll forward it at the end to Nate to add it to the 6speed list=BIGGER DISCOUNT :-)

Show of hands for those wanting to beat almost everything else on the road...

Wow! $8K for the kit on the 3.4 if >11?! That sounds too good to be true. Does anyone know how much installation and shipping costs? - Found in the meantime a hint in terms of installation time on the EVO page: 18-22 hours labor, so another $2K, makes $10K plus shipping; I guess $300.

My buddy has one of these kits on his 3.6 996 and it rips. Definately faster than a stock 996TT.

i agree... i have tried to get registered on 6 speed for a long time and cant' ..... i've even tried emailing the admin.... and to no aval... no respoonse.... it sucks........ i tried hotmail, yahoo, gmail and nothing... they got issues over there.....
anyways, i wanted to know how do we know what the count is at? i called up GMG and they said that they would call me back... still waiting...i think the price for the 11+ is a great deal........ but is it worth it? especially bc my p-car has about 60K on it.....? maybe take that money and put it down on a tt

EVO has a nice Q&A section on their web-page but what they do not say is: How heavy is the SC? The parts look pretty solid, so more power is great, but handling will suffer and you're adding the weight on the rear end, so a faster car that gets more tricky to drive?

If it would not void the warranty on my new engine I would do it in a heart beat.
