True, I guess for me, with the TT bumper and skirts, the 19's fill thing sup better...my 18's looked puny in there. Look at things on a case by case basis too....yes a similar designed 19 will be heavier, but my 19's weigh less than my 18's so i did get a performance increase....there are 18's that are lighter than my 19's, but 19's were a nice compromise for me...better looks (to me) and better performance than what I had.

These are friggin' boxster wheels I thought all sport designs were the same for boxsters and 996's....
they have always "looked" right to me..
I have never noticed....the car is a 1999 996..see pic
the questions are;
is the fit perhaps correct since this is an "early car"?
whats the different offset do..make the wheels stick more "out" or "in"?
will these damn boxster wheels fit my 1987 944 turbo?
what should i do??
thanks for your help in advance....

Those wheels will work fine on your 996 or 951, but I think you should get rid of them. I will be happy to take them off your hands, buy or trade for 996 wheels whatever works. They are my favorite factory wheels,but I didn't reailize it until I had bought two additional sets.

I use the boxster offset wheels for my winter wheels specifically because they are thinner. If you move up to 996 rims, you may want to keep the other ones as well for the winter.
