alright guys.... my car is giving me a little bit of problem and i've searched.... even on renntech for one of those DIY...... has anyone changed theor oil pressure sending unit yet? it doesn't look hard, just a little gold cylinder with two tab and a bolt on the bottom.... how hard is it and what will i need?
i think i can order it for about $55 on pelican...... should this be one of those, DON"T TOUCH IT and leave it up to the expert?
oh yeah, local places are charging $300 for labor and the unit.... i don't think that sounds fessible if it's something that's easy to do..... HELP PLEASE!
hey 99firehawk... do you have a diy for it? pics or insturctions....etc? oh btw you were right about the little light on the door... there's a little switch there that was disconnected when placing in the speakers that caused the lights to be on all the time...thanks for the info.....
open trunk
insert arm un plug sensor
with small wrench or crows foot
break snesor loose
un screw by hand
install new sensor
tighten new sensor with wrench
plug in senser
