Throwing grease out of right rear hub
While I was doing some work on my car yesterday, I noticed that the inside of my right rear wheel was coated with grease. Upon further inspection, the inside of the wheel assembly was oozing grease.
Not being real familiar with the rear axle set up, would this be caused by a torn or ripped "grease boot" (don't know what else to call it)? Has anyone else had this problem? Also, do you know if this would be a warranty item? My car is still under the original 4/50 warranty.
I have an appointment to take the car in to the dealer on Wednesday morning.
Thanks in advance for any opinions and help!

Yes, most likely a torn CV boot. No big deal, but you do need to get it replaced very soon. Your CV joint is running with no grease, and grit is allowed in, whcih will quickly destroy the joint.
Don't delay - get it replaced.
