I agree with Phil above that it is a heat shield - it looks chrome in the photo, but it's a white material, ceramic I believe. And yes, stock on the C4S.

I do use Holberts. I've had good luck with them so far. They can be pretty expensive, so you have to watch them to be sure that they're only doing work that needs to be done, rather than up-selling, but otherwise they care about doing a good job and do give a PCA discount. The big plus for me is that they're less than 5 mins. from my house.

An example, the aero kit job that I just did, their quote for parts, paint and fitting came in around $5600. My completed job came in at less than $3K with the combination of sourcing parts from DPS, having them do the painting, me fitting them bumper and Holberts doing the side skirts.

Yeah, mine was under a cover until it had to go out for the sid skirts fitting, now it's sitting there without a blanket getting cold.

I've got that frame as well. I think it looks great. Gives a finished look but doesn't distract any attention from the car.

Thx!
I think that plates with '911' or Carrera are quite redundant. Not only does the car say Carrera on the back already, but the shape is so ubiquituous, that everybody knows that anyhow, so why does the plate need to explicitly say it!

I am very inclined toward the Rennlist plate (show some support) which I might get, at this stage I have a simple thin-framed black metal plate, which is very clean and simple, and matches the black 'Carrera' logo on the back of the car.

Very good. I'm impressed.

Well, Wednesday is Ladies Day for oil changes at the local BJ's, so my wife told me a should put on a dress when I told her the concept was sexist.

I told my wife I was really excited when I first saw a BJ's store.... then she squelched my excitement when she said "No, it's not THAT kind of BJ!"

Amazing, mine said the same! Our wives should never meet, otherwise life would be over for the two of us.

Hi, I have an arctic silver car and chrome frames looks great with no writing. It really sets off the exhaust tips and the one i have is upscale with snap on covers for the screws. Try it out!
