Changed Shifter **** now the Check engine light is on?
I need your advise was this a coincidence or could I have done something wrong while swaping the shifter out??.
What would cause the Check engine light to go on. Is there something I could look for before it goes off to service?
Thanks in advance

Shifter **** sensor probably got triggered - it's a taste sensor that helps to stop Porsche owners putting skull-heads and 8-***** onto their gear shifters.
There's a second sensor on the rear-view mirror that detects fuzzy dice or beads...
