As long as the tires are 235/35-19 front and 295/25-19 rear, you will be fine with this setup. If you go to a taller rear tire, you may have a fender clearance issue.

I have 19"s on my 03 996 - No problems with rubbing or sticking out.

You can go to a 315/25/19 tire at the rear for a better bead to protect the rim, and this still doesn't rub.

Toyo T1R and other's available in this size for the 19" rim.

Here are my Iforged wheels, they are 19"x8.5" in the front I believe, and 19"x11" in the rear, unfortunately I dont know the offsets..

Nice, but the offset in the rear looks all wrong.

Delirium - nice looking ride! Is that the first time you have posted pics? I don't recall seeing pics of your ride before this post.

What are the rear wheel offsets? They do appear to be slightly extended past the fender.

Thanks Gota911, i have posted a couple of pics before, but not a whole lot. Ill try to take more pictures. Ill definately take pictures after I lower it.

Ya it is hard for me to tell if it is sticking out or not, I think the very top of the fender is perfectly flush with the wheel (tire may portrude a little) but it definately sticks out at the bottom & middle of the fenders...

I dont know what the offsets are as I bought these 2nd hand... is there any way for me to tell?

Porsche usually has the offset cast in the wheel by the valve stem. However, looking at your wheels I'd bet the offset is probably stamped on the back side of the wheel.

If so, you will need to remove the wheel to read the offset. Let us know what it is after you check.

Thats the iForged "custom" 996 offest...it looks too aggressive for my taste in the rear....but once its lowered and you add some negative camber to it, it should be fine....you will have a problem with your rear tires wearing much more quickly on the inside.

Totally forgot about that. The iForged wheels are the ones that "Dan at Vivid" (and others) was selling and several people bought them. I actually got several PM's from members (names I am not giving out) that were pissed that Dan "promised" they were the correct size saying that others commented the offsets were "wrong" when in fact they are not even close. Those offsets would be better suited on a C4S/TT.

I guess offset is a personal thing when you deviate from the rec'd factory range but when you have suspension compression and you hear the fender cut the tire then you understand you have the wrong size.
