Nice car and pics, Charles! Love those 997S-ish quad tips with the rolled lips. Do you know whether they can be direct bolt-ons to the stock mufflers for post-'02?

Both the GT2 and the GT3 come from the factory with ~15% throw reduction on the tranny end. The B&M shortens the throw ~30% on the shifter. Combined reduction is ~45%. I removed the B&M from my car as I felt it was to short and took away the joy of rowing through the box.

Ucube,

I'm pretty sure those tips will work with the stock exhaust. It's actually the tips and about 10 inches of pipe. It connects up behind the bumper with a clamp.

The previous owner had Fabspeed MaxFlo mufflers with these Cargraphics tips installed. I have no idea what the car sounded like with stock. It's plenty loud with the Fabspeeds.

Charles, we NEED to meet up soon! I am dying to hear those fabspeeds since I really want something other than stock on my car. I could very well do the bypass pipes but my neighbors would HATE me

Hey Dell,

Yea, we sure do. Let's shoot for one afternoon next week when the weather is good.

You got it! Anyday after 10a since I lecture every morning until then.

Hit me up in PM so we can find a time offline.

Cheers,

Thanks everyone for the very kind comments. I'm going to have to say it would have never happened without the help of fellow Rennlister Dayle Pugh. He lives in Houston and quickly volunteered to go over and take a look at the car for me. Not bad at all for someone I've never even met! Ha! ha!

Seriously, though. There are some really great people on this forum.

Charles:

I would have been willing to pay you to test drive that car. It is just amazing.

As it is, I was very happy to help.
