Sounds like a decent plan.

There are some nice roads that straddle the PA/NJ border that I've had fun driving. This weekend I found some really nice roads around Quakertown that were probably some of the best that I've seen in this area.

I see from another post that you live near Princeton - some of my favorite roads are in that area... nice and quiet and great for driving at speed.

+1 Count me in!!!

I live in the Reading area and there are some great roads around here, especially if you go 10-15 miles south of here near Amish country(just off the PA turnpike). We should be able to get a great turnout for an event from the greater Philadelphia area.

Sounds like we have a plan coming together. I figure somewhere around April 13th or 20th should have decent weather.

I don't know the Reading area well, but have done a rally up there and tyhink I know the roads you're referring to.... that was a lot of fun.

Okay, so the interest is there, we just have to find a good route.

As long as there's not cinders and crap on the roads from the winter, I'll be in.

With this upcoming weekend promising to be delightfully warm, it would be nice to do something before spring, eh? Perhaps Saturday? Sunday?

Well, for the PA/NJ guys how does April 15th sound?

I've been digging out good roads for us to play on and I think we can have some fun.

Oreganet, April 15th sounds good to me.

I think we should start a new thread for an April 15th fun run in a few weeks or so. We could call it something like "April 15th Phila. Area Fun Run".

What area(s) did you have in mind for the drive? I would prefer to do it west of Philly, say meet on the Turnpike or other large road in or around Chester county. I feel this area would give us better county roads with less congestion than we could find in the Phila. suburbs or Jersey.

Keep in touch.
