Yeah, I'm definitely a city boy. However, this makes me rethink the "emerging neighborhood" choice against the relative safety of Georgetown.
Unfortunately, I've been keyed too but that was in another city altogether.

Yeah, I have no room to talk since I live in p*ssy Georgetown with a private two car garage. If I were your age, though, I think your neighborhood would be more fun . . . although the co-eds in my neck of the woods contribute nicely to the scenery.

Last night we watched Supernanny and did homework with the kids. You've got nothing on us badass suburbanites.

for the humor challenged among us, it should be painfully obvious that everything I am saying here, apart from the commuting issue, is being said tongue-in-cheek. I know 996convert, and I am just fooling around, so, for God's sake, don't get your panties in a wad. So long as you are happy where you live, it really doesn't matter what anyone else thinks about it

I live in a gentrifying neighbourhood of nashville and i've noticed 2 things
all my friends across the USA are moving out to nowheresville with no community and no life in subdivisions with 5 different types of cookie cutter houses
i get asked all the time, why don't you live in franklin, why don't you live in brentwood, why don;t you live in green hills
They don't get the fact that after spending all my life in London I would rather have crack houses 3 blocks away that live in boredomland
but each to his own....

That math definitely went into my decision making:
Lots of 18-24 homogenous hotties in G-town vs. lots of 21-30 diverse hotties in AM. Diversity and more appropriate age demographic won that battle.
