Well, I'm glad to see that we're all on the same wavelength on this.

Exactly my reasons as well.
The other reason is of course, if I need the pickup to haul stuff.
During driving season I check the weather each morning before making the decision which car to drive. I check three different websites (weather.com, accuweather.com and weatherbug.com) and have to see <30% chance of rain from each.

People at work know that if the p-car shows up in the parking lot, then we're in for a nice day - I've become the site meteorologist.

Hey remember, I'm a pats fan, I'm no more welcome down there than you.

I remember stories of a game last season when a father and his 10 year old daughter came her from Green Bay in their full outfit - they got taunted and tortured all through the game. The behaviour was disgusting. Sadly, this example was not unque. Oakland is probably the only other sadium where the fans behave so badly.

Damn, totally forgot (once again) that you are a Pats fan

Well, from a Cowboys fan (and a fan of the Pats) please accept my apologies directed at you

I do NOT apologize to the Eagles fans

I've gotta admit that I'm still hoping that Dallas does well this year. Getting rid of the lead weight that is Drew Bledso is the best move that any team can make. He kills the performance of any team that he's on.

My bet is on Dallas beating Philly. I was soooo pleased when Dallas beat Indianapolis.... if ever a team needed a chip knocking of it's shoulder, that was it.

As for Bledsoe, he never takes responsibility. His post-game press conferences in New England used to drive me nuts... "eeerrrr, well, I guess we just didn't pull things together well enough to win this week." He would say the same thing each week. When we dumped him we finally started winning. Hmm, sending him to Buffalo and having him hobble their play was a really tough decision <sarcasm>.

Reasons I don't drive it:

1. Like Nutbeam said, too many cars infront of the garage
2. When I play ice hockey (won't fit by goalie bag)
3. When I have to go on an appt for work. Can't show up to meet the prospective tenant in a p-car. I take the S4 and every thinks it an A4.
4. If I'm going to sit in bumper to bumper traffic, or not going to be parked in a great area. Don't want shopping carts hitting my car, etc.
5. Not a safe area to park (ex: the mall).
6. If I need to fit adults in the back seat. (My 2yr old fits just fine).
7. Snow or salt on the roads.
8. pot holes, drive through highways under construction (don't want to scratch the p-car).
9. Stadiums. Won't take it to Yankee Stadium or Giants Stadium (I have Jets tickets)

1- My lower back hurts.
2- will have to park vehicule in grim part of town.
3- Going to meet a client.
4- My wife wants to drive it and I'm in the doghouse.
5- Need to bring the dogs somewhere.

Questionable parking

I noticed a few of the "not to see a client" excuses - I've got a delimma coming up, one of our clients is flying in from back east, and I'm taking him to dinner - P-car or Expedition?

I only have these about two or three times a year, but it would be nice to have the 540i back for times such as this. About 70% of me says just go with the p-car, but 30% of me knows he's a conservative midwest type that gives our company a couple of million dollars a year in orders.

Grim choice indeed.

Take the Expedition - I've had a client say "oh, we're obviously paying you too much" when they see the Porsche. Trying to explain that I bought it for 40 something grand, which was probably less than his SUV, didn't seem to matter.
