Phil,
From what I remember, the 993 was a special order, "Ferrari Light Yellow", aka "FLY".

That 993 was in horrid shape when Mike acquired it.

Andreas:

See previous post with color sticker. The 993's in fact had this color as a special order as you stated.. That car wasn't as bad as Blackhorse the one you saw in person. What a pig. Remember the big XM antenna wart on the decklid. AWFUL!!!!

Agreed, it was nice of Dell to do that. Good job, Dell!

BTW, Steven, you missed a spot! There is still a little "brown" color on the end of your nose!

I stand corrected - didn't think it was a factory color but "FERRARIGELB" is surely fly yellow. Great color!!

Phil:

Like I said 996's are not my specialty at all. I have learned a lot from this thread and the PM's I have gotten on the car. The guy that ran the yellow car through Special Wishes paid $2498.00 to have the car painted that color. And that was in 1995. The color is a few shades brighter than Speed Yellow. Unless you have a SY cay and a Fly car next to each other the colors are hard to distinguish. Thanks all for the help.

Oh god no, he's at it again and it's still early in the day.

BTW, I love the look of the yellow 993... makes me -almost- want one.
