The bracket that connects (braces, really) the exhaust tip to the exhaust pipe is broken. It broke right at the 90-degree bend when I backed into a curb. I'm thinking of bending the bracket or just sawing the remains of it off because what's left of the bracket rattles against the pipe. The exhaust tip seems to be pretty firmly set on the end of the pipe. Is this OK or should I look into fixing or replacing the bracket - and maybe the tip?
