Default Trans fluid weight????

I have (on my BMW's) changed the manual trans fluid to Redline synthetic with great results. I can't find the proper weight fluid for my 02 Targa. What weight should be used and has anyone else put in the Redline synthetic?

Thanks

Frank

Loren are you sure ,I can not gat a strait answer to that question even from my dealer. There are several other factors involved. I am facing the same issue on my 02 stick with 53,000 mi.

Per Porsche TSB 3702 Approved Engine Oils -- dated 7-26-2002
... and Mobilube 75W-90 SHC (sold in the US) or Mobilube 75W-90 PTX (sold in Europe) are both synthetic.
"Transmission oil SAE 75W-90 for manual transmission, front-axle drive (C4), and rear axle final drive (Tiptronic transmission) as shown."

It's not clear that Mobilube SHC is the same as Mobilube PTX.
