Default To undercoat or not?

Hi - planning on driving my 99 C2 through the winter here in Toronto and am inclined to go and get it undercoated with Krown as a precaution against salt/rust/etc.

Any advice? Is it a waste of time? Will it do more potential harm than good?
Thanks in advance.

Your car has plenty of undercoat material. The after market stuff is not recommended by Consumer Reports.
