Default OT: Bluetooth Handsfree

Anyone using a bluetooth handfree for their car? I am considering getting a Parrot MiniHandsfree device and was wondering if anyone has feedback.

Given that I use my C4S as daily driver and my wife's SUV for week-end and longer trip, I don't really want to hard wire a system. I also find tha the bluetooth headset is average.

Thanks.

I have the Parrot 3200 in my DD. Great device. I think that a DD would benefit from a hard wired device. My wife's BMW has a factory device, and it isn't as feature rich as the Parrot, which has a color screen among other features.

The link in my sig provides some pics of the final install.

Thanks TD. Did you connect your 3200 using the Phone kit for the becker CDR220? I already have the phone kit (came with the aux kit I ordered to connect my iPod) so I guess I could easily hard wire it.

I have a daily driver C4S and this is what I did: Motorola Bluetooth. Works very well.

I have the Motorola HF1000 in my car. Here is a link to the install.

I had original installed the HF850 in another car and like the 1000 alot better. The 850 does not have the same voice recognition as the 1000. The 1000 works about the same as the factory installed bluetooth kits in that you can do almost everything without ever touching your phone.

I prefer the hardwire kit to the headset as I really enjoy listening to music when I drive and don't like wearing the headset.

I agree. I plan on switching to the HF1000 soon and moving the HF850 to my daughter's car.
