Desperate help needed with CDR-220/ Traffic Pro
Ok, I finally got my new p-car (2002 C4S). I will post pics once I get my digital camera back but in the meantime I am struggling to get my stereo working. It was asking for a code when I got it so I took it in and got the code from the dealer (who pulled the stereo to get the serial#). The problem is that the traffic pro faceplate needs 5 numbers but the codes they gave me were 4 digits. So I called the guy I got this car from and he sent me two different CDR-220 faceplates which is what Becker says goes with the serial to my stereo. Neither of them light up. So I figure I would just enter the code and see if it will work even though I can't see anything. After entering the code I tried to press buttons on the stereo and put in a cd to see if any sound would start to come out. Nothing happened so I put the TP faceplate back on and it shows the 4 numbers that I entered with a blank line looking for a 5th. Does anyone have any idea as to what is going on here?
Thanks

Ok I finally found the correct code. It was on the bottom of the unit itself. It is odd that when Porsche calls in the serial number of the radio it got a 4-digit code but luckily we found the 5-digit number.
