K2 Sport Coilover Kit
Hello I wanted to know if anyone has use the K2 Sport Coilover Kit on their car? If so could you please post your feed back on this kit? The reason I am asking is because I need a coilover kit for 2002 996 c4s and it is the cheapest that I have seen so far. Thanks for your time.

They have a good rep in track racing mostly with japanese brands. Their adjustable's are aimed more at the JIC/JRZ Cross market of folks as opposed to PSS9's which are for street use. I believe they are buying into the US marketshare as long as you get beyond the jap car stigma and believe that a car is a car and shocks/springs can be tuned to any chassis. Racers believe that sort of stuff

I did some research on the brand awhile back when they were noted in a post. Their focus is mainly track stuff and I could not find anyone that was running their coilovers at all.
Japanese coilovers tend to be very harsh and this was the impression that I got over the phone about the Ksport product as well so if you're tracking the car alot they might not be a bad option but I surely wouldn't expect them to ride like a Pss9 or R0W30 on the street.
I'd expet them to be closely related to the JIC ride which a few here have actually removed from their car because the ride was too harsh.

The K-Sport coilover seems like a pretty decent product. The spring rates are definitely on the stout side for the street (336 front/504 rear) as they're a little less than double the M030 rates. And at $1279 a set (from Apex Sports)including camber adjustable pillow-ball mounts they're ridiculously inexpensive. I might have to give them a whirl for the track.

so cheap!!! whats the catch? the "racing" coilovers are more expensive, but they look pretty solid.
...anyone can make a coilover, i think the real money comes in the knowledge of tuning it.
