I was thinking, wow what a car......then I see the gt3 badge and cringe, and then I read you'll be removing it,...so, I am back to "what a car", it looks fabulous. I usually don't like the mk1, but it works very well on your car, and those porsche design wheels are just perfect. Do you also have the LSD ?, anything special with the interior, if so you owe us an interior shot
P.S: Also, curious about the suspension?...it's definitely not stock.

Hi Jeeva, actually I also cringed like yourself at the sight of the badge
I have a black 911 emblem but i think a badless look would be sweet.
I am working on the interior over winter and have a short shifter waiting to be installed, as for the shift **** I like the look of the 997 GT3 one.
I'm thinking the only remaining exterior items are wheels (maybe) and painting or removing those bumperettes.
Again thanks for all the kind words.

It looks like you are missing the wickerbill on the spoiler. If you add it (and you should), leave it black. Talk to Eric at bumperplugs.com for the painted bumperettes.

Now that tail is simply the Aero-I tail, right? Not a GT3 tail ... Was there a GT3 at the time?

As I was picking up my car from the dealer today, I noticed a base 996 C2 with the GT3 spoiler, wheels, wing, and rear deck badge with a vanity plate that read "GT3 POSR"..... made me chuckle for a moment.

Hi Patrick,
What is the Wick-Bill, and where do I purchase it from, do you have any pics?
Thanks.
Just to answer a few questions:
1. may i ask what year and how much you paid (mileage helps)? options?
A. I paid 42 with 17k miles, full TechArt Aero kit, pedals and Exhaust. The car was owned by an ex-president of a west coast porsche club who also has a bunch of collector cars and a ferarri.
2. Is that the Rockville Pike and Rockville Porsche Audi,
A. Close, there was a recent meet (last of the year) at the Starbucks opp Toys R Us, the other pics were taken by my friend off shady grove krispy creme doughnuts.
3. Suspension is upgraded and far from stock.
Again thanks to everyone, I really did find a gem.

Appreciate that, I'll then order one.

The wicker bill, or gurney flap, is part #996 512 988 00
2.4.1 Measure the gurney flap and transfer the width dimensions to the lower plane of the spoiler.
2.4.2 Apply adhesive, part number 999 915 400 00 on the bottom of the gurney flap in the center and
along its entire length. Diameter of the bead approx. 3 mm.Stick on the gurney flap flush with the
radius transition of the edge at the lower plane of the spoiler. Make sure that the gurney flap is
parallel with the edge. Immediately remove any emerging adhesive. Use adhesive tape to hold the
gurney flap in place during the adhesive hardening process (approx. 12 hours).
2.4.3 Measure the logo and transfer the width dimensions to the rear lid. The bonding height is 50 mm
from the lower edge. Remove film from the logo and stick the logo symmetrically onto rear lid.
(You may already have on ethat I didn't see in the pictures)
