Reid - first, I notice that you have a '99 C2. I don't know what the stock offset is for a '99 C2, so I will use the stock offsets for the '01 - '04 C2 cars (50mm front & 65mm rear) as the basis for comparison.

The front wheels will fit OK. The front wheels will extend an extra 4mm versus a stock 8" wide wheel with a 50mm offset. However, the rear wheels will extend an additional 13mm versus a stock 10" wide wheel with a 65mm offset.

There were a couple of guys on this forum a while back (6 - 8 months ago) that went with 52 mm offset on the rear wheels and the wheels and tires stuck out beyond the rear fender. They tried more negative camber, and went with smaller (narrower) tires just to minimize the potential for rubbing against the fender. None of the measures were successful. The "smallest" offset I would go with on a 10" rear wheel is 58mm. FYI.

I've got 52mm offset rears and they fit perfectly, but.....
thats with 265's and 1.5 degrees of negative camber. Stock camber and 285's is probably not so good as gota911 points out.
