The handle to the glove box on my 02 cab has snapped - I got a new one, but I'm not sure how to get the back of the glove box door off. There are a number of what look like plastic rivets or screw covers visible, but gentle prying doesn't seem to loosen them. I'm guessing that "all" I need to do is get these off and I'll be able to get to the back of the old handle, then it's just a matter of undoing two screws.
Does anyone have access to a manual, or have done this already? Is removing the "rivets" the right approach, and I'm just not applying enough force, or is there some other approach....
best way is to remove the glove box, it could be done without
they are t15 torx screws and you will also need to remove the shocks to fold the cover down far enough
Could you let me know the description of item 9 please - the scan cuts off just above the description. I need to know if it's a rivet or a screw. The heads are covered with the "fur" the rest of the glovebox is covered with, so I can't tell without scraping it off...
