I took off my bumper to search for heat shield rattles and in the process found out that my bumper isn't OEM. It's a pretty good replica - but there are tell-tale signs, like marker lines to cut out spots for the bumperette mounts, rough cut outs for those spots, and the tow hook spots don't line up.

It appears that at least the bumper was changes at some point - and not to upgrade it - just to replace it. Very good cover-up though

In any event, I did find one rattle spot, but only time will tell if it was the only one, lol.
