It's the mid-rise lift from Bend-Pak. Plugs into a 110 volt outlet to run the hydraulic pump. My 987S with standard suspension clears it fine without the planks. With the X73 suspension on the C4S, the car sits too low to clear the 4.75" thickness of the lift. Those 2x12 planks just barely let the car clear. I'll have to get another pair of planks to double the thickness. I had that separate garage built for the P-cars and I didn't think about a lift, otherwise I'd have had them build either a ramp for the car or a notched floor for the lift. There's about another foot to go too, but the garage door opener gets in the way. Nothing like 20/20 hindsight . Oh well.

Yup, got those clear side markers for her soon after the car was broken in. Got her a helmet for DE as well. Fall of next year, I'm ordering a 997 GT3 for her, too, with roll bar and 6 point harness .

You are the devil that made me do it, Greg . I saw your original post, and I just had to have that lift . Unfortunately, the garage had already been finished. I may still either dig out a notch like yours or build a ramp.

Palting,
Glad you are enjoying the lift. It really is an ideal solution for most of the things we need to do. Really pretty easy to ad the recess. Let me know if you would like some more info.
