Default SharkWerks now a Fikse Wheels Dealer

I figured I'd let you folks know that as of today Shark Werks is now a Fikse wheel dealer. I know many of you have associated us with Kinesis wheels (and rightly so) in the past but as you've all by now read that the company as we knew it is no longer and is owned by Lexani. It was as much a suprise to me as it was to you guys but that's the nature of the business I guess. Anyways, I'm actually pretty happy because it's given us the opportunity to try something different and in fact partner up with Fikse USA, who have for a long time been making light, strong and stylish wheels. I don't see much on the boards about them (usually HRE, Champion etc...) and seeing as they are not readily available from most vendors I figured I'd let you know that you can indeed get them from us and we'll happily help you out. Way before we ever became a Fikse dealer we actually bought a set for our 996 wide-body project car (see pictures) and I've always liked them. They're DOT legal, used a lot for club-racing (so we know they're strong) and very light. As usual there's a plethora of finishes available...

I pulled up the Lexani web page. I'm no longer considering Kinesis wheels for my race car. Got to go. I have to vomit now.

Eric, I really enjoyed working with Kinesis for about 3.5 years and it's a change that I'm not keen on myself. I'm going to go with Fikse as they have always seemed to be from the same mould in terms of being very Porsche-centric. In other words you won't see Fikses on a Caddy yo!

I wouldn't be surprised to see a Kineisis 24" Spinner!

Hence I'm sticking now to only three wheels.. Fikse, BBS (the motorsport wheels) and HRE for their C-Series (Competition wheel). All of those are super-light and strong so they'll do the job nicely going forward

I, too, checked out the Lexani site. You have more control than I do. I threw up all over my keyboard!

hey shark, other than the ownership changes, what indications have you received that Kinesis will be changing? Their site is still the same.

just curious

Hi Steve.. good question but once the found/owners had left and I went to www.lexani.com that was really enough for me to realize that it was not going to be the same for me, my customers or most of the people we know... Call me picky but

Hey Eric,
Would a Lexani Infinity spinner work for you? Imagine the enhanced handling possibilities of these at the track. And they bring absolute bling on P-Cars... Check 'em out.

(Sorry Alex I couldn't help myself, I wish you great success in selling Fikse wheels)
