996 Targa and lower suspension question
After doing a couple of questions, one of them to Porsche Germany, about the possibility of installing the M030 kit for a lower suspension on a 02' 996 Targa. According to my informations, it is not possible "because of the heavier roof". However, I understand that other Targa owners have this kit installed and I wonder if anyone could post his experience about that and, overall, if anyone has inputs about the compatibility of the M030 kit and the 996 Targa from Porsche.
In Porsche Order Guides 996 (MY03 Carrera/Targa) the option code M030 is not allowed.
The RoW M030 suspension kit, is not too much stiffer than the standard
Perhaps it could be installed without any problem.
I 'd like to know if someone could tell me something about this point, and explain what about the noise, crackings ,behaviour and well operating system of the sun roof
Thanks

I talked to Gert at Carnewal about this one time, and if I remember correctly, he said to use the set of springs designed for the cab, which is close (actually just a little heavier) to the weight of the Targa.
