Default ROW M030 ride height

I am thinking (seriously) about upgrading my 02 C2 to the ROW M030 suspension setup. I worried about my driveway apron, however.

I live in Bethesda, MD less than a mile from the Beltway and 355. Is there somebody in the DC area with a similar car with ROW M030 who would be willing to come over and do a test drive into my driveway?

Thanks,
Bill

Mine lowered 16-18mm in the rear and about 22-24mm in the front. I have the GT3 front and splitter and I have 5.5 inches from the ground to the splitter. Hope that helps.

FYI....I have to enter my driveway at an angle.

Mine lowered a full inch in front and only 1/4" in the rear. My car sits at exactly 26" with the stock 18" wheels and tires from floor to fender lip at each corner. I noticed that the front took about a month to fully settle while the rear never changed after it was installed. Keep in mind that Porsche specifies a range for the height as 20mm +/- 10mm in front and 10mm+/- 10mm rear.

The best way that you can get the suspension settled is a spirited track weekend! Ask me how I know

FYI.....02 Carrera is exaxtly spot on with the (F)20+/-10 and (R)10+/-10

My car also sits at 26" from pavement to top of fender well lip on the front. The rear is at 25-5/8". Also on 18's.

What's the stock suspension height?

The reason I ask is that I started driving my car again after the winter this week... the first week I've driven it with the partial aero kit on the car. Every morning I scrape the splitter on the front against the bottom of the driveway as I reverse into the road.. not a serious scrape, but it's still a scrape... this sort of kills the idea of lowering the car further as I'd planned. It concerns me considering that the incline on my driveway really isn't that steep... and it only scrapes reversing out, not pulling in.

I found this thread and went and measured the distance from ground to top of the wheel well (I have 18" wheels) and the botttom of the front wheel well is 26.5" from the floor - is the stock, or something else? How would I tell if I have a non-stock suspension installed?

I still have the USA stock suspension, or as Dell calls it, "the SUV look." I can't really disagree with him on this one though! Damn, I really DO hate it when I agree with Dell!

I just measured my car and from the floor to the fender wells it measures..... 26 5/8" Front and 26 1/2" Rear. I don't know if I am going to lower it... I am still thinking of doining some "off roading" this spring.

Thanks Tim. Looks like I'm stock, even though looking at photographs of lowered suspensions I seem lower in the rear.

Shining a flashlight into my front wheel wells I'm seeing green brown and blue dots.

...weird that my lip is scraping... gotta find a way to stop that.

There's a bit of leeway in the published ride heights. I changed from stock USA to RoW M030 and my car lowered maybe 1/4".

my '03 C2 Cab got ROW M030 a few thousand miles ago and i honestly can't tell the difference in the ride height visually. i didnt measure ride height sadly before and after height (well, after i can do, but wont do me much good now).

my guess ROW M030 lowered my car by approx. 1/4-1/2"

Yes it will lower some but most importantly it sure helps in getting rid of the front end light feel at high speeds, have it, love it and would never go back.
