Does any one know of a site that includes pictures and or a technical diagram / procedures on DIY items like changing filters air, pollen and fuel out there? I cannot find these, I had heard about a book entitled 101 projects … but did not see if this book included pictures, being a visual person I need these.

Loren has a great site set up over at Renntech.org and is a MUST JOIN for anybody wanting to do any work on their car. It is where I got my start and now there is a TON of things I refuse to let anybody do but myself. Major items? I leave those for an indy or the dealer.

Somewhat true. To access some of the areas of the website that are EXTREMELY helpful (TSB's, etc.) you must be a contributing member. Well worth it.
