upgrade to gt2 front bumper
I have a MY02 c2 and am considering upgrading to a gt2 front bumper. Any advice on what I'll need to do the the front end - relocate radiators, different plumbing, additional mounting hardware, etc.

IMHO, the GT2 bumper (or Turbo bumper for that matter) looks a bit odd on a narrow-body car because there are no sideskirts available (OEM or aftermarket) that compliments the lines of the GT2 bumper. I would suggest getting an OEM Aerokit Mk II bumper and matching sideskirts instead.
But to answer your question, your car is an 02 so you have the right headlights for the GT2 bumper (no facelift required). You will need to shave off about an inch to an inch-and-a-half off both sides of the bumper reinforcement bar because the GT2 bumper has larger air intakes than the standard bumper but I think that is all there is to it.
