Default adding pasm/psm

is it possible to add pasm/psm to my 2000 996 that does not currently have it?
is this just a plug-in module or is there more associated hardware?

I would imagine something like this would be so difficult its not worth adding. There are alot of components and peices involved to a stability mgt system.

i dont know for 100% that it's impossible to add, but i do know for 100% that it is implausible to add. the cost would simply not be worth it. if it was a have-to-have option, the only real course of action is to sell your car and buy one with it.

I agree with the above.

Take a look at porsche.com and they have a cool video/animation of what PSM is/does.

Once you see that, I think you will realise how complex it is and how unlikely a retrofit is.....
