Here's a related post from the POC GRC discussion board.....
Proposed: Allow 993 cars to use M030 (US) springs to remain in Stock Class
and allow M030 RoW springs to Improved Class
CC Decision: the CC is in unanimous agreement to allow Improved 993 cars to
have Factory Euro Springs that will lower the car, but would not change the
spring rate.

The article and I must both be wrong then.
It must be the +/- 10MM piece in the article for all US cars (Std and M030) at a ride height of 158 front and rear as per table 1.
