1998 Porsche tiptronic improvement?
I would like to improve Shift of my car. Can you somehow do that? New converter for higher RPM lunches? Or maybe adopt tiptronic transmission from 997? It shifts much faster that 1998 one. Can this be done?

Your only viable option I would suspect is a performance chip for your transmission. I'm 110% sure that a 997 transmission is cost prohibitive and NOT worth the while. As for a stall converter - if you wanted a drag car you should've bought a mustang, it's not worthwhile just to roast your tires and stress your drivetrain.

I have only ever seen this transmission remapping done once and it was done by Porsche Motorsports in conjunction with a race engine and included remapping both the engine and transmission systems which talk to each other.
You may find some Snake Oil salesmen offering remapped transmission control units, but I would advise you not to waste your money.
The problem with all the Tiptronics are the mechanical capabilities of the hydraulic shifting components.
Attempting to marry a 997 Tip with an early 996 3.4 litre engine will also be prohibitively expensive.
Anything is possible with a Porsche, but you have to be practical when it comes to the cost.
Ciao,
Adrian.

it would bolt up but it wouldnt work you could try to get your trans control unit flashed with the latest software for it but i cant promise you would even notice a diffrence ,
I have pulled torque convertors for custoemrs and they have had them restalled to a higher stall speed, its about 50/50 those that were happy with it afterwards
noticed thats its a euro 1998 and is a 996 not a 993
