[I jest...] The only ones worse than the Boxster drivers are those stuck up 993 drivers.
dude, everytime i see a Porsche in the freeway, it always put a grin on my face coz' it does stand out...and yes, some of them they don't even wave back or flash their light coz' for them it's only a Boxster and tha's sad

kinda like in high school...you got the freshman coming in and the seniors will pick on them

Hi Steven,

Here's the breakdown:
Rockers: $650 (Bwine Porsche incl shipping)
Bumper: $1100 (Dart Auto, Colorado? incl shipping)
Prep, paint and install: $1500 (Bodystyle on Brokaw in SJ)

I suggest shopping around and being patient for deals on the parts. Prices can (and will) vary wildly. For instance, I found the rockers easily available for $950 and the bumper for as much as $2600!!! It was sort of a pain to have the parts sitting around my house (my wife complained a lot about the bumper in our dining room...) but when I told her how much I was saving, that staved off further complaining.

I have to say I highly recommend Cecil and Bodystyle. He's worked on my E55 in addition to my 911 and I'm very happy with the results. You'll find several Porsches in his garage if you visit. Chat with Ceasar for a while too, he's cool and has one bitchin 911!

I've used EMC in Fremont in the past. They come very highly recommended and I will say that the work was good but, in all fairness, I felt like I could have been treated better than I was.

Next, I think I'm going to add a little bling to my wheels...

Good luck!

Yah, it's sad, the passing of "the flash/wave". I've always been into cars but I remember when a co-worker of mine got me hooked on P-cars - I wasn't even driving a p-car at the time and I noticed more waves/flashes between p-car drivers than I get myself in my 911 today!!!

Grrrrrr, I had to haul the kids in again today... Is it lunch yet?!?!?
Must
resist
urge
to
leave
work
now
to
go
get
911...
Grrrrrr....

Hey, is there a moderator (or a more clued-in rennlister?) reading this thread?
The joke was funny but I'd like to change the Thread title to:
"Aero kit installed (pics)"
to be a bit more helpful to other listers but when I attempt to "Edit Thread" I get an error saying I don't have this permission?

Thanks for any help!
