Removing super glue from painted surface
I ordered a new Carrera emblem for my ride and when I removed the old one, I found that someone had tried to superglue the top part of the "C" at some point in time. I tried to pick at it but it's pretty hard so I wet sanded it some then wiped the area with mineral spirits but it's still there. I applied the new emblem with the hopes it would cover most of it, but it came out pretty lousy.
Anyone know how to remove superglue without damaging the paint?

A little lacquer thinner won't harm a modern paint finish, just use a little bit on a clean cloth. Make sure and apply wax afterwards. Bodyshops use it to remove rubber marks or another vehicle's paint from the car.
