Wrapping headers on a street driven car is asking for cracking. I’ve done it many times and all have ended in crack failures. Cheap or expensive headers, cheap or expensive wrap, the header almost always cracks, and the wrap gets ratty looking, and in the case of low hanging headers, most times ripped from road debris.

I appreciated the ceramics when working on track cars when you needed to put your hands in the engine bay...

Well hopefully we can get all these old opinionated miss informed threads updated. All these responses in a few days I can't imagine how many people were miss informed over 17 years as they do come right to the front of Google searches no matter how old they are.

don't wrap headers and don't wrap your paintwork. don't tint your headlights and don't install clear markers....and don't buy all the junk that doesn't work....and wheels can be no more than 18 inches diameter
